Well-being comes from your thoughts, actions, and experiences – which we mainly have control over. There are five types of well-being:
PHYSICAL – Improving the function of your body by eating healthy and by practicing good exercise habits.
EMOTIONAL – Practising stress management and being resilient, generates the emotions that lead to positive feelings.
SOCIAL – Communicate and develop meaningful relationships with others, maintain a support network to overcome loneliness.
WORKPLACE – To pursue your interests, values, and purpose, in order to gain meaning, happiness, and enrichment professionally.
SOCIETAL – Actively participate in thriving community culture and environment.
